Danson park fireworks will open at 6.00pm. The Funfair and food will be operating from about 6.00. The BexFactor stage will be live from about 6.30 until the fireworks. The fireworks display will commence at 8.00 pm.

One of the biggest charity fireworks displays in the South East returns to Bexley this year on Saturday 6 November, the display which is organised and run by Welling Round Table attracts 20,000 visitors from the local area such is its reputation. This year the fireworks, which are triggered by state of the art computer systems will be synchronised to a range of music from the eighties.

Danson Park provides plenty of space for visitors of all ages, a family fun fair will be running during the evening and there will be a wide range of catering facilities. Every year live entertainment is a key part of the event and this year Welling Round Table are pleased to have partnered with BexFactor – the London Borough of Bexley’s very own talent contest, this year’s winners and best talent will be performing on the BexFactor stage from 6.15.pm, they will welcome your support.

The fireworks display will start at 8.00pm and the gates will open at 6.00pm, local roads will be subject to closure and parking restrictions so you are strongly urged to use public transport or to walk. The gates get very busy at around 7.30 so getting there slightly early could be a good idea. Nice though they are, sparklers and your own fireworks are strictly prohibited at the event.

Event organiser Steven Way of Welling Round Table said “we try hard to make this a great value family event so we have held our ticket prices the same as last year. It is an event that we have run for many years and which helps raise charitable money to fund and support local good causes. Over the past year grants from £50 to £5,000.00 and totalling more than £15,000.00 have been made to individuals, groups and charities in need of assistance and support. It is only with the support and generosity of our local community at our events that we can make such grants available”.
